ABOUT

Hi! I’m Stacie Diamantides, I’m 31, a Scorpio, living in South Florida with the loves of my life: my husband Nick and our two incredible little boys, Jaxon (2.5 yrs) and Phoenix (11 mos).

I’m an avid movie-quoter with [what I think is] a witty, sarcastic and punny sense of humor. I hope this aspect of my personality comes across effectively in my writing and isn’t misinterpreted or lost on the majority of you who will actually read this blog.

I grew up a Military brat so I’m not originally from anywhere. I was born in Hawaii, lived in four different parts of North Carolina, three in Virginia and attended high school in Okinawa, Japan; all before ending up in Florida for college.

My degree (from FAU) is in Graphic Design. I worked in that field as well as Internet Marketing up until I got pregnant with Jaxon and was too sick with Hyperemesis to keep my 9-5. So since 2013 I have been employed by one of the hardest jobs I’ve ever had; stay-at-home mom.

Shopping [in any form] has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. My mom always says that as a child, even in a hardware store, I could find something “I needed to have”. Not much has changed.

The idea for Will Work For Fashion was born while I was in college; when regularly overdrafting my bank account to buy clothes was much more important to me than being able to get text books or have something other than ramen for lunch and dinner. Again, besides HAVING to buy diapers and food, not a whole lot has changed.

Many years later, here we are. After all of my wildest dreams came true: a wonderful, successful husband, beautiful house, amazing children, loving and supportive family; the list goes on – I still felt like something was missing. That something was pursuing a [sort of] career in what has been a major part of my life and who I am, my love of all things fashion and design. Although I am still new to the blogging world, I have already learned that its a job in itself and will require a lot – I’m up for the challenge.

Thank you for taking the time to even visit my page! I hope you enjoy it and will continue to take this WWFF journey with me.

And I’m spent! (It’s punny, get it!?)

xx,
Me
